Call for Special Session Proposals

 

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the official Call for Sessions for the TICEAS, scheduled to take place in Hokkaido from December 24-26. Special Session Organization is highly encouraged. The goal of these special sessions is to provide a forum for focused discussions on new topics or innovative applications of established approaches. A special session could address a particular theme or consist of work done in some particular international project. Sessions of similar topics may be proposed, if needed we will schedule them at different slots over the conference period.

 

The call for sessions is divided into
A. Special Session Proposal Submission (Oral Session)
B. Group Member Session Submission (Oral/Poster Session)
A. Special Session Proposal

This format does not require a minimum number of submitted papers for presentation.

1. Submitters are required to submit the theme of sessions for review by the conference committee. Once approved, the sessions will be announced online along with other conference sessions.
2. Submitters should provide a comprehensive description of the sessions, and the manuscript format must adhere to the conference guidelines.
3. Submitters are expected to serve as reviewers and session chairs for their respective sessions.
B. Group Member Session

This format requires a minimum of 5 submitted papers for presentation.

1. Submitters must provide the theme of the sessions, and the manuscript format must comply with the conference guidelines.
2. Each session under group registration should consist of no fewer than 5 manuscripts but no more than 8.
3. Submitters are responsible for serving as reviewers and session chairs for their respective sessions.
4. The conference offers special incentives for group registrations as a reward.
How to submit the session proposals
Please submit your special session proposals by email to the conference
secretariat at  ticeas@ticeas.org. Proposals should include:
1 Special Session title
2 A short description (2-3 lines) & covered topics
3 Session organizer(s) and chair(s)
4 List of speakers (when available)
Accepted sessions will have their own tracks on the online submission system.
Important steps
1 Collect high-valued technical contributions by directly contacting the colleagues working in the proposed research field.
2 You are kindly requested to supervise the review of papers in your session.
